Design of the watch case pays homage to the specially customized Sea-Gull ST5B watch that accompanied China's first Antarctic expedition team 40 years ago in 1984.

And officially launching on 2024-Mar-25, this watch marks the 69th year since the birth of the Wuxing watch (五星表) on 1955-Mar-24, which is considered the first watch of China, made by Tianjin Watch Factory (now Sea-Gull).
