The dial and case design basically reproduced the first Chinese space watch that was used for space suit airtight inspection when the Shenzhou 5 spacecraft was launched on 2003.10.15. This special date is engraved on the titanium case back, aslo engraved is the outline of returning capsule and the Shenzhou 5 travelling in space.
