The "Lingyan Tourbillon" was initially created by Master Xu Yaonan (in Chinese: 许耀南) of Beijing Watch in 1996. It features a flying swallow on the tourbillon module, swallows breeds in spring, they appear in pairs in the sky, eaves and branches, thus swallows symbolize love in Chinese culture. Also Chinese people believes that the swallows nesting under the eaves of houses could bring good luck and wealth to the family.
